Dear Polaris Company,

I am a high school student In Mekoryuk, Alaska at the Nuniwarmiut School. I am writing this letter to you because I own a Polaris snowmobile and I need some information about it. The reason I’m writing to you is because I want to ask you some questions about it.

I own a 1999 Indy 340 Touring model. I wonder if your company has an extra owner’s manuals for that model. It seems like something always needs to be fixed on my snow machine. I also wondered what size belt it needs. The belt I am using now is okay but I can see that the strings are coming out of it. It’s a belt from the Dayco company. I also ordered suspensions for the skis and I wondered how to change them. I’m not sure how to do that on my own. The parts say they are from your company, but I ordered them from Swanson’s Polaris in Bethel, Alaska. I wondered how to change the chaincase oil too.

As you can see I am just a teenage boy who doesn’t have a lot of money or information on my machine. So could you please send an owners manual if possible because it would be easier for me to know what I’m actually doing with my machine. Your company would be cool to send me an owner’s manual and when I get older I will be a loyal Polaris customer. Thanks for taking time to read my letter. I’m looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Sincerely,

Jason Hunt
